Using the premise of Alwin Nikolais' "total Theatre", I embarked on a new creative process where collaboration between dancers, costume designer, prop master, lighting designer and composer take equal part on the stage. Initially influenced by the book "The Art of Loving "by Erich Fromm, a work of science fiction is born. This duet brings a new breed of a transformed humanity as hydraulic yet organic breathing machines. Defiance epitomizes imaginative human/alien resemblance, a little out of the ordinary.
