Through the creative process of this duet I came to explore the human conditions from which I exist; a Puerto Rican, Christian, son, brother, lover and a homosexual male in Western society.  As an artist I was compelled to investigate how my relationships with other men have inspired my artistry. By discovering, exploring and presenting my lived experiences, I came to realize that these relationships and their representations can contribute to non-discriminatory perceptions of men in Western society and have the potential to create change.
